06/08/10--Howdy!!! We're finally gonna start playin' shows again. July 16th at the Larimer Lounge. Its our 10th or 11th year anniversary!!!
We may have drank a year or 4 completely out of memory, so come by and remind us who you are.

09/09/09--Today is a sad day, our very good friend Mike Freeman passed away earlier this morning. Thanks to all of you for your thoughts, prayers and support over the last year. The punk scene in D-Town wont be the same without such an iconic player/singer/songwriter. But as long as we all keep the rock and local support going for everyone, we'll all do Mikey proud.

09/25/08--The last few months have not been the easiest - our very good friend Mike Freeman (frontman of Gina Go Faster and guitar player for Start Tomorrow) was diagnosed in May with Stage IV Glioblastoma Multiforme, it is a very serious Brain Tumor and the most aggressive of its kind. We've been playing benefit shows and selling FUCK CANCER shirts to raise money for Mike's medical bills. You can buy these shirts or make a donation at some shows and bars (Gigglin rizzly and The Park Tavern) but the best place is at WWW.MIKESUPPORT.COM. 05/14/08--Ha! Since its been almost a year since the last post of news, I thought I had better write something. We've been working on the CD off and on for the last year, but its looking like it may be done by the end of this month. Otherwise we've been playing shows when we can and thinking about when and where to tour this year. So keep cheking out this site for more updates and we'll see you at the next show in June. Later, j

02/08/07--Had some good shows at the end of last year and started off this year with a few more, thanks to all for coming out and supporting. We are going to start recording another full length the middle of this month and plan to have it out and tour sometime this summer. later, j

02/07/06--Little late for happy new, sorry, we've actually been busy, playin' shows, drinking, practicing, drinking and drinking. But most importantly!!!-The new album is finally done!!!! Just need to finish art work and the layout and get it pressed, but its finally mixed and mastered, so the hardest most time consuming part is done. As of now, no shows for Feb., thanxs to all who came out to the ones in Jan., we got some good shows coming up in March so be sure to check the shows page-there are more than what's listed but I'll update those as I get all the info, so we'll see you there, later, j.

07/15/05--Well, we didn't win the battle of the bands at the Hard Rock (Ha Ha), but super huge warm fuzzies (guess which part of the body that is heh heh heh) to all who came out to one or both of the shows, we really appreciate it and we don't plan on playing any more $10 shows - unless we end up opening for a rock star band - but thanx again to all!!! 06/27/05--Super huge, beer swilling thank you to all friends and family who came out to the battle of the bands at the Hard Rock Cafe last Wedsday. Thanx to all of you, we won and we'll be playing there again on Wed. July 6th for the final round, so if you all could do that again, our appreciation would outshine our love of fine, light, cheap beer. Otherwise, thank you all for all the support we have recieved over the last 6 years and especially on last Wedsday. 05/03/05--Alright, so it's been a few months, but we haven't been as lazy as usual. We have started mixing, you can check out some of the songs at PUREVOLUME.COM and MYSPACE.COM. Still no official word on when the CD will be done or out, but at least there's been a lot of progress. We have played a few shows this year, thanx to all who came out, special thanx to DENVER ACCESS MAGAZINE for letting us play their press release party last friday. 01/12/05--Heeeyyyy, happy 05!!. Another year has come and gone, still no new CD - but we're working on it I swear, please don't beat me - recording is really almost done now, should only be another 5 months and we may think about trying to start to consider getting some beer to help us think about mixing it. Had some good shows at the end of last year (thanx to all at the Bottoms Up Tavern and the Cherry Pit), trying to get a bunch for this year and hopefully a tour (as well as the new album), check the shows page over the next few weeks and we'll see you then, j

10/19/04--Hi..................we've been real busy. Takin' vacations, drinkin', not practicin', but that's all changing now. The recording is all done except for the vocals, so were ready to get out and start playing as much as possible again (which means check the shows page--got some good rock comin', mmmmmmmmmmm rooooock) and the album will be done when its done, hopefully by the end of the year. 08/07/03--Sorry we haven't updated in awhile --no internet access-- but its back now, we are going on tour to the west starting in about a week with Ivy League, I will hopefully have the dates up in about 2-4 days, and new mp3s (again, hopefully). 05/16/03--We've played a few shows since the last post, all went really well, especially One Inch Tall's last show ever at the Larimer Lounge 2 weeks ago, thanx to everyone who came out, if you missed it, too bad, because they're gone forever now (sons a bitches) and were sad to see them gone, but glad we were there for the ride, we finished recording what we wanted to for now and we'll hopefully be putting some new mps up here soon, and we've started booking for tour for early august back out west. 03/06/03--Sorry we have written in awhile, been busy. Our first show of the year ended up being at The Ogden opening for Homegrown, Riddlin' Kids and Wakefield. The show was a blast, thanx to everyone who talked to us after the show and sent emails. We hope to play an all ages show sometime soon in Denver, but are playing one at the Startlight in Ft Collins a week from now. We started doing some recording the other day so we may put those up here at some point in time. I have updated the PIX page, the first 2 pages are new pictures. 01/20/03--Hi & happy new year to all, thanx to everyone who came out to the Gothic show a few weeks ago and to everyone who came out last year period. Our first show of 2003 will be at Tulagis in Boulder on 01/28/03, show starts at 6pm($5 alcohol w/ ID) so get off work early and come on out. As for any other news, we have been working on new songs and are close to having enough for another CD. No word on when that will be coming out and we hope to tour late March, early April out west again, so we'll keep you posted. j
12/10/02--Thanx to everyone who came out to the Nerf Herder show last night, it was a great show. We still plan to put tour pix up, we just need to develop them first. 11/25/02-- Well, we're back from tour, thanks to everyone who came out to the shows, especially John and Scott ( and all the boys at Pendelton), for partying w/ us and giving us a place to stay. The whole thing was a blast, except for the blown trani in Utah and the alternator in Vegas, everything else was great. I'll add more to this when I get the pics we have developed. j
11/07/02-- The Halloween show was great, thanks to everyone who came out. For those of you who didn't you missed a great show and the return of Gina Go Faster - they were incredible. 10/28/02-- Thanx to everyone who came out to the Pansy Division show, we had a blast playing with them and The Plus Ones, even Maris the Great was there. 10/11/02-- Well, its been a month so I thought that I'ld better put something up. 07/16/02-- We'ld like to start by saying thanks to everyone who came out to the last show at Tony's (The old Flying Dog Pub on 07/06), it was a good time, we got to play with One Inch Tall and The Dangerfields. The Qualm show was incredible, packed house, new CD from Qualm and we got pulled over and searched (heh heh heh), one of the two times we've ever played a show and didn't have any beer in the car. All ended up happy and thank you to everyone who drove by and laughed at us from their cars. Anyway, no news on when our next show is, were working on some things and will probably be in Durango w/ The Thirteens, One Inch Tall and The Dangerfields sometime in August, and plan to do a little west coast tour in October. bye. j
06/11/02-- We played w/ Sugarcult, Laymens Terms and Stunt Doubles on 6/5, and it was a great show, thanx to everyone who showed up early enough to see us, we've been writing new stuff and are considered going into the studio for another full length, but we need a few more songs still. We'll be playing with Anti-freeze this thursday (6/13) at The Startlight in Ft. Collins and don't forget Qualm's CD release show on 6/29/02 @ Tulagis in Boulder, see ya there. j
05/14/02-- Thanks to everyone who came out to the King Bee Records Compilation CD release show on Mother's Day. It was a good time and all the bands(Contender, Third Straight Loss and One Inch Tall) were great. We may have been a shade buzzin' but I blame that on Chris fom One Inch Tall -- it was his idea to drink on Mother's Day, for shame -- heh heh heh. And that's all folks. j
05/2/02-- Finally, the MUSIC and PIX pages have been updated and the cd is available for sale(hint hint). Anyway we got to play with The Eyeliners in early April, they are sooo cool. Hemi Cuda wasn't able to play, we heard the drummer broke his ankle, so we hope he's doing well and that they'll be back soon. Double Barreled Slingshot filled in for them and were fantastic. Were playing tonight at Area 51 in Boulder and at The BluBird on May 12 for the King Bee Records Compilation CD Release show. And that's all I have for now. j
03/25/02-- We played a benifit show last monday up in Boulder at Tulagis for StandUp For Kids, which is an organization devoted to helping kids get off the street. So thanks to everyone who came out. 03/06/02-- Alllll righty then, its the first post of the year and we would like to start out by saying thanx to all of our friends and everyone who supports us and goes to our shows, if your reading this you are more than likely one of those people so THANK YOU. We've had some great shows this year with excellent bands and we've got more coming, will be playing at Tulagis w/ Tinkers Punishment and Grace Like Gravity (+ guest-TBA) on MArch 18th, and we'll be opening up The Eyeliners show at the Bluebird on April 10th w/ Hemi Cuda. This year is a time of renewal (is that spelled right?) and we will be keeping the news page updated on a regualr basis (news permitting) and making sure that our shows are listed on the showsrn true"> SHOWS page, so check that often because we want and plan to do a lot this year. Otherwise will will start recording some more stuff in the next two monts and the MUSIC page should hopefully be done in a week (seriously this time). We will also be revamping the site again with some currernt pictures and maybe a different layout, but I ain't promisin' shit on that one. So that's the end and be safe. j
11/12/01--So, none of this info was in the SHOWS page but we went out for a short time through the midwest and had a lot of fun, we were at The Fireside in Chicago. and the Creepy Crawl in St. Louis and played a cool studio in Ames, Iowa called Bi-Fi Records--click the name to go to their site-- and played a few other places. We played a great benefit show for Breast Cancer at the Startlight in Ft. Collins and opened up for the Unwritten Law & Gob show about 2 weeks ago at The BlueBird in Denver. We are still updating the site and hope to have the CD available and some MP3s in the next couple of weeks. We will hopefully be going out to the west coast in early January and we will update the site for location and times and for any shows that we get locally in Denver, so that's all, take it easy. j
08/23/01--As I said from the last news, we would update the site sooner, and by sooner I ment later. We were in the studio the last few months (The Behive in Denver) and have finally finished a full length with 14 songs. It will hopefully be out in some local stores soon and we will be having a CD release show in about a month, check the shows link. We are also going out on a short tour next month to the midwest and we'll be hitting the west coast in about two months, I'll be putting all of this info in this section and in the SHOWS listing as soon as we have all dates and places, and when I get a chance I will put a couple MP3s off the new CD in the music section, we will be selling the CD through this web site as soon as possible, be about another week or so for me to update those pages. Otherwise we've played some good shows. The Bluebird show at the beginning of this year was a lot of fun, we opened up for sum41 in Ft. Collins and we were supposed to open up for Osker, but as you know they had to cancel their tour --but we still had our CD release party for Ft. Collins on this date, thanx to everyone who stuck around, eventhough Osker didn't play, we have played a few of the punk rock wednesdays at The Flying Dog Brewery and there is usually a punk show there every wednesday or thursday, so if you're in Denver on those days you should check these out. Other than that I will be sure to keep at least the shows page updated for all future shows, so check back often and thanx to everyone who have been going to our shows. j
12/16/00--Alright, its been a long time since we've put any news up, sorry about this, but hey, shut up. So a lot of stuff has happened since the last time. We opened up for Homegrown around the end of September with Diffuser and Overhed and about 2 weeks ago we opend the show for Cooter and Mustard Plug--this was a GREAT show, thanx to all our friends in Ft. Collins who came out for this. In mid September we went back out with Gina Go Faster to KC and St. Louis. KC was not a very good show, bad night with a lot of local competition in other parts of the city. But the Creepy Crawl in St. Louis kicked ass, if you're gonna go to STL, we highly recommend this bar, its all ages and they serve alcohol, and just an all around great place to play. We plan on going into the studio in the next couple of weeks to start on a full length CD. We've also played some great local shows with Gina Go Faster, The Blast-off Heads, Regular, The Dinner Mints and 2 shows with Left Unsaid from Albuquerque. Anyway, some up coming shows: we're playing on 12/29/00 with Qualm and Gina Go Faster at The 15th Street Tavern and at The BlueBird Theater on 01/02/00 with Qualm, The Fairlanes and 2 other bands I can't think of right now (been drinkin--check the SHOWS page and I'll have them in there ASAP). 07/15/00--We got back from being on tour w/ Gina Go Faster a little over a week ago. Talk about a blast. Nothing but drinking beer, driving through hell (aka Texas) and watching Mike puke. We recorded an EP before we took off and I have added some songs on the music page from the EP. We may re-record it at a later date and time or we may just write new stuff and do a full length and include some of our favorites from the EP and re-record those. If you're interested in obtaining one, email us, they're $5, have 6 songs, and are about as DIY as you can get. This coming saturday, July 22, we will be opening the show for One Inch Tall's cd release party and Gina Go Faster will be playing as well. 02/07/06--Little late for happy new, sorry, we've actually been busy, playin' shows, drinking, practicing, drinking and drinking. But most importantly!!!-The new album is finally done!!!! Just need to finish art work and the layout and get it pressed, but its finally mixed and mastered, so the hardest most time consuming part is done. As of now, no shows for Feb., thanxs to all who came out to the ones in Jan., we got some good shows coming up in March so be sure to check the shows page-there are more than what's listed but I'll update those as I get all the info, so we'll see you there, later, j.

07/15/05--Well, we didn't win the battle of the bands at the Hard Rock (Ha Ha), but super huge warm fuzzies (guess which part of the body that is heh heh heh) to all who came out to one or both of the shows, we really appreciate it and we don't plan on playing any more $10 shows - unless we end up opening for a rock star band - but thanx again to all!!! 06/27/05--Super huge, beer swilling thank you to all friends and family who came out to the battle of the bands at the Hard Rock Cafe last Wedsday. Thanx to all of you, we won and we'll be playing there again on Wed. July 6th for the final round, so if you all could do that again, our appreciation would outshine our love of fine, light, cheap beer. Otherwise, thank you all for all the support we have recieved over the last 6 years and especially on last Wedsday. 05/03/05--Alright, so it's been a few months, but we haven't been as lazy as usual. We have started mixing, you can check out some of the songs at PUREVOLUME.COM and MYSPACE.COM. Still no official word on when the CD will be done or out, but at least there's been a lot of progress. We have played a few shows this year, thanx to all who came out, special thanx to DENVER ACCESS MAGAZINE for letting us play their press release party last friday. 01/12/05--Heeeyyyy, happy 05!!. Another year has come and gone, still no new CD - but we're working on it I swear, please don't beat me - recording is really almost done now, should only be another 5 months and we may think about trying to start to consider getting some beer to help us think about mixing it. Had some good shows at the end of last year (thanx to all at the Bottoms Up Tavern and the Cherry Pit), trying to get a bunch for this year and hopefully a tour (as well as the new album), check the shows page over the next few weeks and we'll see you then, j

10/19/04--Hi..................we've been real busy. Takin' vacations, drinkin', not practicin', but that's all changing now. The recording is all done except for the vocals, so were ready to get out and start playing as much as possible again (which means check the shows page--got some good rock comin', mmmmmmmmmmm rooooock) and the album will be done when its done, hopefully by the end of the year. 04/01/04--So we've played a few shows, all were great, thanx to everyone who came out, we're going to take April, and whatever other time we need, off from shows to start recording, should hopefully start in the next week, we want to do another long tour but this may not happen till after July, so hopefully we can just do some quickies here and there, but keep checking the shows page, because we always say we're taking time off to record and wether we record or not, we still end up playing a bunch of shows(not complaining we just can't help ourselves), but again thanx to all who came out and we're hoping to have a new release this summer, later, j
02/03/04--Its the new year and we haven't done shit, so we're feelin' good and rested. 05/16/03--We've played a few shows since the last post, all went really well, especially One Inch Tall's last show ever at the Larimer Lounge 2 weeks ago, thanx to everyone who came out, if you missed it, too bad, because they're gone forever now (sons a bitches) and were sad to see them gone, but glad we were there for the ride, we finished recording what we wanted to for now and we'll hopefully be putting some new mps up here soon, and we've started booking for tour for early august back out west. 03/06/03--Sorry we have written in awhile, been busy. Our first show of the year ended up being at The Ogden opening for Homegrown, Riddlin' Kids and Wakefield. The show was a blast, thanx to everyone who talked to us after the show and sent emails. We hope to play an all ages show sometime soon in Denver, but are playing one at the Startlight in Ft Collins a week from now. We started doing some recording the other day so we may put those up here at some point in time. I have updated the PIX page, the first 2 pages are new pictures. 01/20/03--Hi & happy new year to all, thanx to everyone who came out to the Gothic show a few weeks ago and to everyone who came out last year period. Our first show of 2003 will be at Tulagis in Boulder on 01/28/03, show starts at 6pm($5 alcohol w/ ID) so get off work early and come on out. As for any other news, we have been working on new songs and are close to having enough for another CD. No word on when that will be coming out and we hope to tour late March, early April out west again, so we'll keep you posted. j
12/10/02--Thanx to everyone who came out to the Nerf Herder show last night, it was a great show. We still plan to put tour pix up, we just need to develop them first. 11/25/02-- Well, we're back from tour, thanks to everyone who came out to the shows, especially John and Scott ( and all the boys at Pendelton), for partying w/ us and giving us a place to stay. The whole thing was a blast, except for the blown trani in Utah and the alternator in Vegas, everything else was great. I'll add more to this when I get the pics we have developed. j
11/07/02-- The Halloween show was great, thanks to everyone who came out. For those of you who didn't you missed a great show and the return of Gina Go Faster - they were incredible. 10/28/02-- Thanx to everyone who came out to the Pansy Division show, we had a blast playing with them and The Plus Ones, even Maris the Great was there. Remember the party this Thursday (Halloween) at Herb's Hideout (2057 Larimer), we'll be playing with One Against Many, Gina Go Faser and Regular, the bar will be giving out stamps so you can get in/out w/o having to pay again. 10/11/02-- Well, its been a month so I thought that I'ld better put something up. We've recorded one new song and will hopefully be putting it on a comp soon, we still have to mix and master tonight to see if its good enough, and we'll probably put it on the web site if it is(after the comp comes out) or isn't(right away) to get some feed back on it. 07/16/02-- We'ld like to start by saying thanks to everyone who came out to the last show at Tony's (The old Flying Dog Pub on 07/06), it was a good time, we got to play with One Inch Tall and The Dangerfields. The Qualm show was incredible, packed house, new CD from Qualm and we got pulled over and searched (heh heh heh), one of the two times we've ever played a show and didn't have any beer in the car. All ended up happy and thank you to everyone who drove by and laughed at us from their cars. Anyway, no news on when our next show is, were working on some things and will probably be in Durango w/ The Thirteens, One Inch Tall and The Dangerfields sometime in August, and plan to do a little west coast tour in October. bye. j
06/11/02-- We played w/ Sugarcult, Laymens Terms and Stunt Doubles on 6/5, and it was a great show, thanx to everyone who showed up early enough to see us, we've been writing new stuff and are considered going into the studio for another full length, but we need a few more songs still. We'll be playing with Anti-freeze this thursday (6/13) at The Startlight in Ft. Collins and don't forget Qualm's CD release show on 6/29/02 @ Tulagis in Boulder, see ya there. j
05/14/02-- Thanks to everyone who came out to the King Bee Records Compilation CD release show on Mother's Day. It was a good time and all the bands(Contender, Third Straight Loss and One Inch Tall) were great. We may have been a shade buzzin' but I blame that on Chris fom One Inch Tall -- it was his idea to drink on Mother's Day, for shame -- heh heh heh. And that's all folks. j
05/2/02-- Finally, the MUSIC and PIX pages have been updated and the cd is available for sale(hint hint). Anyway we got to play with The Eyeliners in early April, they are sooo cool. Hemi Cuda wasn't able to play, we heard the drummer broke his ankle, so we hope he's doing well and that they'll be back soon. Double Barreled Slingshot filled in for them and were fantastic. Were playing tonight at Area 51 in Boulder and at The BluBird on May 12 for the King Bee Records Compilation CD Release show. And that's all I have for now. j
03/25/02-- We played a benifit show last monday up in Boulder at Tulagis for StandUp For Kids, which is an organization devoted to helping kids get off the street. So thanks to everyone who came out. 03/06/02-- Alllll righty then, its the first post of the year and we would like to start out by saying thanx to all of our friends and everyone who supports us and goes to our shows, if your reading this you are more than likely one of those people so THANK YOU. We've had some great shows this year with excellent bands and we've got more coming, will be playing at Tulagis w/ Tinkers Punishment and Grace Like Gravity (+ guest-TBA) on MArch 18th, and we'll be opening up The Eyeliners show at the Bluebird on April 10th w/ Hemi Cuda. This year is a time of renewal (is that spelled right?) and we will be keeping the news page updated on a regualr basis (news permitting) and making sure that our shows are listed on the showsrn true"> SHOWS page, so check that often because we want and plan to do a lot this year. Otherwise will will start recording some more stuff in the next two monts and the MUSIC page should hopefully be done in a week (seriously this time). We will also be revamping the site again with some currernt pictures and maybe a different layout, but I ain't promisin' shit on that one. So that's the end and be safe. j
11/12/01--So, none of this info was in the SHOWS page but we went out for a short time through the midwest and had a lot of fun, we were at The Fireside in Chicago. and the Creepy Crawl in St. Louis and played a cool studio in Ames, Iowa called Bi-Fi Records--click the name to go to their site-- and played a few other places. We played a great benefit show for Breast Cancer at the Startlight in Ft. Collins and opened up for the Unwritten Law & Gob show about 2 weeks ago at The BlueBird in Denver. We are still updating the site and hope to have the CD available and some MP3s in the next couple of weeks. We will hopefully be going out to the west coast in early January and we will update the site for location and times and for any shows that we get locally in Denver, so that's all, take it easy. j
08/23/01--As I said from the last news, we would update the site sooner, and by sooner I ment later. We were in the studio the last few months (The Behive in Denver) and have finally finished a full length with 14 songs. It will hopefully be out in some local stores soon and we will be having a CD release show in about a month, check the shows link. We are also going out on a short tour next month to the midwest and we'll be hitting the west coast in about two months, I'll be putting all of this info in this section and in the SHOWS listing as soon as we have all dates and places, and when I get a chance I will put a couple MP3s off the new CD in the music section, we will be selling the CD through this web site as soon as possible, be about another week or so for me to update those pages. Otherwise we've played some good shows. The Bluebird show at the beginning of this year was a lot of fun, we opened up for sum41 in Ft. Collins and we were supposed to open up for Osker, but as you know they had to cancel their tour --but we still had our CD release party for Ft. Collins on this date, thanx to everyone who stuck around, eventhough Osker didn't play, we have played a few of the punk rock wednesdays at The Flying Dog Brewery and there is usually a punk show there every wednesday or thursday, so if you're in Denver on those days you should check these out. Other than that I will be sure to keep at least the shows page updated for all future shows, so check back often and thanx to everyone who have been going to our shows. j
12/16/00--Alright, its been a long time since we've put any news up, sorry about this, but hey, shut up. So a lot of stuff has happened since the last time. We opened up for Homegrown around the end of September with Diffuser and Overhed and about 2 weeks ago we opend the show for Cooter and Mustard Plug--this was a GREAT show, thanx to all our friends in Ft. Collins who came out for this. In mid September we went back out with Gina Go Faster to KC and St. Louis. KC was not a very good show, bad night with a lot of local competition in other parts of the city. But the Creepy Crawl in St. Louis kicked ass, if you're gonna go to STL, we highly recommend this bar, its all ages and they serve alcohol, and just an all around great place to play. We plan on going into the studio in the next couple of weeks to start on a full length CD. We've also played some great local shows with Gina Go Faster, The Blast-off Heads, Regular, The Dinner Mints and 2 shows with Left Unsaid from Albuquerque. Anyway, some up coming shows: we're playing on 12/29/00 with Qualm and Gina Go Faster at The 15th Street Tavern and at The BlueBird Theater on 01/02/00 with Qualm, The Fairlanes and 2 other bands I can't think of right now (been drinkin--check the SHOWS page and I'll have them in there ASAP). 07/15/00--We got back from being on tour w/ Gina Go Faster a little over a week ago. Talk about a blast. Nothing but drinking beer, driving through hell (aka Texas) and watching Mike puke. We recorded an EP before we took off and I have added some songs on the music page from the EP. We may re-record it at a later date and time or we may just write new stuff and do a full length and include some of our favorites from the EP and re-record those. If you're interested in obtaining one, email us, they're $5, have 6 songs, and are about as DIY as you can get. This coming saturday, July 22, we will be opening the show for One Inch Tall's cd release party and Gina Go Faster will be playing as well. Otherwise I'm done now, if anything else happens or when I remember specifics about the tour, I'll put it up, otherwise I'll be putting pictures and maybe an mpeg or two when I get everything squared away. jesse
